What Is The Series About?

For those who enjoy video game/virtual reality anime, this series feels the same even though they aren’t in a video game. Delicious In The Dungeon involves a group of adventurers deep in a dungeon trying to recover a member of their party, who a red dragon ate. To stay in the dungeon longer, the group realizes they can kill and cook the meat of monsters and eat that. This allows them to continue to move forward without returning to the surface for supplies. Likewise, this sets them up to not need as much money because monster meat doesn’t cost them anything.

Per Crunchyroll News, those asking for seconds were finally heard. Season 2 of Delicious In The Dungeon has been confirmed. Sadly, this news did not come with a release date. This news came with a new trailer teaser and a visual. So, this product is already underway. Below is the trailer teaser that was released:

Fans can only hope that Season 2 will also have 24 episodes. Unfortunately, no information about the new season has been released just yet. Overall, fans have rejoiced at this big news as Season 1 ended without giving the series a scrap of closure.
