Feeling a little overwhelmed as you try to navigate the Benjamin app after the MoMo update and the massive overhaul of the entire app? You aren’t alone, mama. Take a seat and let’s navigate the app’s fresh new look together.

If you are anything like me updating apps on your smartphone isn’t exactly a priority. For the most part, I update an app when it gives me a message that it cannot function anymore without being updated. Usually, this means they released an update several weeks ago and I never got the memo. Now, this is exactly what happened with the Benjamin app a few days ago. And, if you are anything like me, you were just as surprised when you opened the app up after the update and realized it looked completely different.

Benjamin overhauled the app’s entire look and interface recently with its MoMo update. If you aren’t big on change, it can be a little overwhelming trying to navigate the changes. Fortunately, Benjamin is one of my favorite side hustles. So, allow me to help walk you through some of these massive changes.

3.2.5 MoMo Update

It was about three weeks ago when Benjamin released the 3.2.5 MoMo update. This update included a massive overhaul of the app’s look and feel. When you first opened up the app, you were smacked in the face with what looked like a completely different app. What’s interesting is the update details on the app store really didn’t detail the massive changes very well. Here are the official update notes:

– Track your progress with MoMo Ring
– Login Streak Rewards – Multiply your earnings with streaks
– Personalized Earning Opportunities
– Performance improvements

The update notes completely skip over the fact that the entire look of the app was changed.

Benjamin Update: MoMo Ring

The very first thing you see when you open the app is a “MoMo Ring” it includes a daily goal and how close you are to hitting the goal. On one side, you can see your “MoMo Balance.” This includes how much you have sitting in your account as well as how much you’ve earned in total from the app.

On the other side, you can see your “Daily MoMo Claims.” This is where you claim your cashback earnings as well as money you get from completing surveys or playing games. Below that you will find the Daily Bonus. This hasn’t really changed much other than they did cut the daily earning bonus in half.

Bounty Bay

Under the Daily Bonus, you can find something called the “Bounty Bay.” Basically, this is an offer wall. A place you can go to complete offers or surveys for cash (MoMos). The Bounty Bay is sponsored by RevU (which is actually pretty commonly used with these types of apps).

The Challenge Arcade

The Challenge Arcade is sponsored by PlayTimeWeb. Again, this one is also very commonly used by this type of app. The Challenge Arcade includes a variety of games you can download and play. You complete milestones and earn cash for the milestones.

The Fun Zone

Finally, there is the Fun Zone. This is where the better-paying game offers can be found. You accept an offer, download a game, and have a set amount of time to hit the milestones and claim the cash for hitting them.

Benjamin Surveys

Don’t miss the Benjamin surveys that are hidden a bit under the Fun Zone. They are not really in a fun section on their own and tend to get overlooked. In my experience, these Surveys are way easier than the ones in Bounty Bay. I’ve been able to score a few quick and easy ones in this section.

Benjamin MoMo Update: Biggest Let Down

One big miss from the new Benjamin update is them burying the cashback opportunity. You can go to your account and link your bank account and debit card to get cashback. Then, you can work your way up the tiers. I have reached the platinum tier. So, I get decent cashback on all of my purchases. But, the new update doesn’t really mention the cashback opportunity anywhere on the front of the app. Unless you go looking for this information in your profile/account settings, I’m not sure how people find it elsewhere in the app.

The cashback feature is how I make a chunk of the money I make using this app. So, it is a little disappointing that it feels as though they hid it with the new update. That being said, it is still there. So, make sure you set it up in your account settings to take advantage of everything this app has to offer you.

What do you think of the new update and the design overhaul? Are you feeling overwhelmed or do you like the changes? Other than the one issue I have with the cashback feature, I really like the new setup. Though, I do think it is a bit disappointing they sliced the daily bonus in half without really giving a reason why.

Thank you for this rundown! The Benjamin website support pages are really light on detail, so this is super helpful.

How soon do your earnings show up from the Fun Zone milestones? I’m trying out my first game and am a little concerned as there’s no indication within Benjamin even though I’ve hit the first two milestones from the game.
