Tadaima, Okaeri (Welcome Home): Stream Or Skip?

Tadaima is definitely not a series I would just openly recommend to anyone. The theme’s and concepts of this series are not for everyone. Before watching, I recommend that you be open to reading some basic information on the omegaverse, which will explain a lot of the show’s character dynamics. It’s important to note that, at its core, the series isabout two married men creating a family together. It’s also worth noting that in the ‘omegaverse’ where these characters and events take place, men can become pregnant and have children. So, If none of that information made you squirm and enjoy watching BL anime, this is definitely one to add to the list.

Personally, I genuinely love how much of the series focuses on the development of Hikari. I don’t think I’ve ever watched an anime with this family dynamic that involved such young children and the child being so central to the storyline. For those looking for a wholesome and sweet slice-of-life romance, this is definitely it.

Presently, it is too early to give this series a concrete rating. But, this mommy definitely approves and recommends this series as one to watch as long as you are open-minded.
